How to merge PDF files into one

Merging PDFs is useful when you have scanned pages in separate files, when you want to send a single document instead of several attachments, or when you need to combine a cover letter and a resume into one file before uploading to a job application.

Steps

  1. Open the Snapfold Merge PDFs tool.
  2. Drop your PDF files in. Add as many as you need (up to 10 on the free plan).
  3. Use the arrows to put them in the right order.
  4. Press Merge into one PDF and save the result.

Your files stay on your device and are never uploaded.

Does the order matter?

Yes. The pages appear in the PDF in the same order as the files in the list. Use the up and down arrows to rearrange before merging.

What if a PDF is protected?

Password-protected PDFs cannot be merged without the password. Remove the password in Adobe Acrobat or a similar tool first, then merge.

Will the quality change?

No. Merging combines the pages as they are without re-encoding them, so the text and images stay exactly as sharp as in the originals.

Can I merge more than 10 PDFs?

The free plan allows up to 10 files per merge. Pro removes that limit.
