How to turn a screenshot into a PDF
Converting a screenshot to PDF is useful when you want to save a webpage, a receipt, a chat log, or any other content as a document that looks the same on every device and cannot be easily edited.
Steps
- Take a screenshot. On Windows press Windows + Shift + S to capture part of the screen, or Print Screen for the whole screen. On Mac press Cmd + Shift + 4 to select an area.
- Open the Snapfold Images to PDF tool.
- Paste the screenshot with Ctrl + V (or Cmd + V on Mac). You can also drag the file in or click to browse.
- Press Download PDF and save the file.
Can I combine several screenshots into one PDF?
Yes. Paste or drop multiple screenshots one after another. Use the arrows to put them in order. Each screenshot becomes one page in the PDF.
What page size should I choose?
Use Match each image if you want the PDF pages to fit the screenshots exactly. Use US Letter or A4 if you plan to print the PDF or share it as a formal document.
Will the text in the screenshot be selectable?
No. A screenshot is a picture, so the text inside it is part of the image. If you need selectable text, copy and paste the content into a Word document or a Google Doc instead.
